Privacy Policy

Feelory ("App") is provided by Glitters and Smiles d/b/a Tech Glitters ("Tech Glitters," "we," "us," or "our").

This Privacy Policy explains how we access, collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use Feelory, including quote browsing, saved quotes, personal quote writing, quote customization, Ambient Mode, daily moments, widgets, sharing, and wallpaper creation.

By using Feelory, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Summary

Feelory does not require you to create an account or sign in.

As of the Effective Date, Feelory does not include third-party advertising SDKs, in-app purchases, Firebase Analytics, or Crashlytics.

Most app activity is stored locally on your device, including your written quotes, saved quote identifiers, selected feelings or categories, appearance preferences, Ambient Mode preferences, quote delivery history, daily moment schedules, and widget payloads.

Feelory uses Firebase Cloud Firestore to fetch the app's quote catalog. This catalog sync may cause Firebase/Google to process technical service data such as IP address, app identifiers, package name or bundle ID, device and operational details, and service usage information.

If you contact us for support, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, screenshots, device details, or other support-related information.

2. Information We Access, Collect, or Store

Unless the App clearly tells you otherwise, this local app data remains on your device and is not transmitted to Tech Glitters by normal App use.

Information from Firebase/Firestore catalog sync

Feelory may connect to Firebase Cloud Firestore to retrieve a current quote catalog. The App currently reads the quote_catalog/current document from our Firebase project and caches a validated copy on your device.

This catalog sync is used to provide updated app-provided quotes and categories. We do not use this catalog sync to upload your personal quotes, your saved quotes, your daily moment schedule, or your appearance preferences.

Firebase/Google may process technical and operational information necessary to provide Firebase services, such as IP address, app identifiers, project identifiers, package name or bundle ID, device information, timestamps, diagnostics, and service usage data.

Feelory may request or use the following permissions or platform features:

Feelory does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, camera, health data, or calendar access as part of its core current functionality.

Support communications

If you contact us by email, website form, app store review, or another support channel, we may receive your name or display name, email address or phone number if you provide it, message content, screenshots or attachments, device details, and records of our communications with you.

We use this information to respond to you, provide support, investigate issues, improve the App, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and users.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate Feelory, display quotes and themes, save your local preferences and app state, reduce repeated quotes, retrieve and cache updated quote catalogs, generate quote cards and wallpapers, let you copy or share quotes, respond to inquiries, maintain and improve the App, comply with legal obligations, and protect Tech Glitters, users, app stores, service providers, and the public.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as of the Effective Date.

We may disclose information to service providers, including Firebase/Google, as needed to host or deliver app functionality. We may also disclose information when you direct sharing through your device, when app stores or platforms process store-related data, for legal and safety reasons, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.

5. User-Created Quotes and Content

Feelory lets you write and save your own quotes. These user-created quotes are stored locally on your device in the current version of the App.

We do not claim ownership of the original quote text you create. You are responsible for the content you write, save, copy, export, share, or use as wallpaper. You should not enter private, sensitive, confidential, unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful content unless you understand and accept the risks of storing it on your device or sharing it with others.

6. Notifications and Daily Moments

Daily moments are optional. If you enable them, Feelory stores the schedule locally and asks your device operating system to deliver notifications at selected times. Notification content may include quote text or locally generated quote artwork. Notification delivery depends on device settings, operating system behavior, battery settings, network state, and platform behavior.

7. Wallpapers, Photos, and Sharing

When you choose to save an image, Feelory may request permission to add the generated image to your photo library, gallery, or external storage. The current App is not designed to browse, upload, sell, or analyze your photo library.

When you share a quote image, Feelory may create a temporary image file and pass it to your device's share sheet. The app or person you choose to share with will receive the shared content.

8. Third-Party Services

Feelory may use third-party services, SDKs, operating-system features, or app-store services, including Firebase Core and Cloud Firestore, Apple and Google platform services, device photo/gallery/storage services, clipboard services, share-sheet services, Flutter packages, and device APIs used to operate the App.

Third-party services may collect or process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control. If we add analytics, ads, purchases, account features, cloud backup, cloud sync, social features, or additional SDKs later, we will update this Privacy Policy and required app-store disclosures.

9. Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the App, clear app data, uninstall the App, reset your device, or the operating system removes it. Support communications may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights.

Firebase/Google and app stores may retain technical, operational, or store-related data according to their own policies and legal obligations.

10. Deletion and Privacy Choices

Because Feelory does not currently require accounts, most user data is stored locally and tied to your device rather than to an account with us.

You may delete local App data by deleting your own quotes, changing preferences, disabling daily moments, disabling notifications, deleting home widgets, clearing App data through device settings where supported, or uninstalling the App.

If you contacted us for support and want us to delete support communications that identify you, contact us at contact@techglitters.com. We may retain certain records where required or permitted by law.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information we handle. No method of transmission, storage, software operation, or electronic communication is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted operation, or error-free protection of any information.

You are responsible for securing your device, using device lock features, installing operating system updates, controlling app permissions, and deciding what content you enter, save, copy, share, or export.

12. Children

Feelory is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through normal App use. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. International Users

If you use the App outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we, our service providers, app stores, or platform providers operate.

14. California, EEA, UK, and Other Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information we maintain about you. You may also have the right to withdraw consent, appeal, complain to a regulator, or not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

15. No Sensitive Data Request

Feelory is not designed for storing sensitive personal data such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, passwords, medical records, therapy notes, precise location, biometric data, or confidential legal information. You should avoid entering highly sensitive, private, or confidential information into your personal quotes or support messages.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law or platform policy.
