Privacy Policy

Jigsy ("App") is provided by Glitters and Smiles d/b/a Tech Glitters ("Tech Glitters," "we," "us," or "our").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Jigsy, including puzzle categories, daily puzzles, image-based puzzles, game tokens, rewards, ads, purchases, leaderboards, and related features.

By using Jigsy, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Summary

Jigsy does not require users to create an account or log in.

We do not knowingly collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or precise location through normal App gameplay.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you voluntarily provide for that purpose. Newsletter subscription is optional and requires you to manually enter your email address. You may unsubscribe at any time using the same newsletter service or unsubscribe process, and your email address will be removed from our newsletter database after you unsubscribe.

However, the App may collect or process limited information through app functionality, analytics, advertising SDKs, purchases, crash/diagnostic tools, optional leaderboard features, and support communications.

Some information may be collected automatically by third-party services such as Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google Mobile Ads/AdMob, Apple, Google Play, and other platform providers.

2. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

During normal gameplay, we do not intentionally ask for or collect:

• full name;
• email address;
• phone number;
• mailing address;
• precise GPS location;
• government ID;
• health information;
• biometric information;
• login credentials;
• payment card numbers.

If you contact us by email, we will receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, name, message, screenshots, device details, or support-related information.

If you voluntarily subscribe to our optional newsletter, we collect your email address only to send newsletter communications. You may unsubscribe at any time through the newsletter service or unsubscribe process, and your email address will be removed from our newsletter database after you unsubscribe.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you use Jigsy, we or our service providers may automatically collect certain technical, usage, analytics, advertising, and diagnostic information.

This may include:

• app launches and session activity;
• puzzle categories viewed or played;
• game events, puzzle completions, difficulty levels, hints, rewards, tokens, and unlock activity;
• button taps and feature interactions;
• approximate device or region information inferred from IP address;
• device type, operating system, app version, language, and platform;
• crash logs, diagnostics, performance data, and error information;
• advertising identifiers or app-instance identifiers, where permitted by device settings and applicable law;
• ad views, rewarded ad completions, ad interactions, and fraud-prevention signals.

We use this information to operate the App, improve gameplay, understand feature usage, fix bugs, detect abuse, measure ad performance, and improve user experience.

4. Analytics

Jigsy uses analytics tools, including Firebase and Google Analytics for Firebase, to understand how the App is used and to improve performance and features.

Analytics may collect app interaction data, device information, approximate location, session statistics, app-instance identifiers, and diagnostic information.

We use analytics to:

• understand which puzzle categories and features are used;
• improve App design and gameplay;
• measure App stability and performance;
• troubleshoot bugs;
• evaluate rewards, tokens, difficulty, and unlock flows;
• improve future updates.

We do not use analytics to identify you by name because the App does not require a login.

5. Advertising and Rewarded Ads

Jigsy may display ads, including rewarded ads. Rewarded ads may allow users to earn in-app benefits such as hints, extra time, tokens, or puzzle unlocks.

Advertising partners, including Google Mobile Ads/AdMob, may collect or receive data such as:

• IP address;
• advertising ID or similar device identifiers;
• app interactions;
• ad views and ad interactions;
• diagnostic and performance information;
• approximate location inferred from IP address;
• fraud-prevention and security signals.

This information may be used for advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention, analytics, frequency capping, and improving ad delivery.

You can control certain advertising identifiers through your device settings. For example, Android and iOS provide settings to reset, delete, or limit advertising identifiers or personalized ads, depending on your device and OS version.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Jigsy may offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, premium features, remove-ads options, tokens, or other paid content.

Purchases are processed by the platform where you downloaded the App, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your full credit card number or payment card details.

We may receive limited purchase-related information from the platform, such as:

• product purchased;
• purchase status;
• subscription status;
• transaction identifiers;
• receipt or purchase validation data;
• refund or cancellation status.

We use this information to unlock purchased features, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.

7. Photos and Device Images

Jigsy may allow you to create puzzles from photos or images on your device.

When you choose a photo:

• the App may request permission to access your photo library or camera;
• the selected image may be processed on your device to create a puzzle;
• the image path or local puzzle progress may be stored on your device;
• your selected photo is not intentionally uploaded to our servers for normal gameplay.

If you choose to share a puzzle, screenshot, achievement, or support message, you control what content is shared and where it is sent.

You are responsible for any image you choose to use in the App.

8. Local Storage and Game Progress

Jigsy may store information locally on your device, such as:

• recent images selected by you;
• saved puzzle progress;
• favorite puzzles;
• completed puzzles;
• tokens and reward history;
• sound and gameplay settings;
• daily puzzle status;
• category unlock progress;
• cached remote puzzle images;
• other App preferences.

This local data helps the App work properly and preserve your progress.

Deleting the App may delete locally stored App data from your device, depending on your device settings and platform behavior.

9. Remote Puzzle Images and Categories

Jigsy may fetch puzzle categories, image manifests, remote puzzle images, and related content from online services.

When the App requests remote content, technical information such as IP address, device network information, request timestamps, and requested URLs may be processed by hosting providers or network infrastructure.

We use remote content so that puzzle categories and images can be updated without requiring all images to be bundled inside the App.

10. Leaderboards, Scores, and Achievements

Jigsy may include leaderboards, scores, achievements, progress history, or similar features.

If you use leaderboard or score features, we may process gameplay-related information such as:

• score;
• completion time;
• puzzle category;
• difficulty;
• move count;
• achievement status;
• display name or nickname, if you choose to provide one;
• leaderboard ranking.

Do not use your real name or personal information as a display name if you do not want it visible to others.

We may remove leaderboard entries that appear fraudulent, abusive, automated, or inconsistent with fair gameplay.

11. Customer Support

If you contact us at contact@techglitters.com, we may collect the information you provide, including:

• email address;
• name, if provided;
• message content;
• screenshots or attachments;
• device or App information you provide;
• support history.

We use this information to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve the App, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

12. How We Use Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

• operate and maintain Jigsy;
• provide puzzle gameplay and App features;
• save progress, tokens, rewards, and settings;
• provide daily puzzles and category puzzles;
• process purchases and restore entitlements;
• show ads and rewarded ads;
• measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud;
• analyze App usage and improve features;
• detect bugs, crashes, and performance issues;
• provide customer support;
• prevent misuse, cheating, fraud, or abuse;
• comply with legal obligations;
• enforce our Terms of Use.

13. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address.

We may share or allow processing of information with:

• analytics providers, such as Firebase and Google Analytics for Firebase;
• advertising providers, such as Google Mobile Ads/AdMob;
• app platforms, such as Apple App Store and Google Play;
• cloud, hosting, database, and infrastructure providers;
• crash, diagnostic, and performance service providers;
• payment and purchase validation providers;
• legal, compliance, security, or fraud-prevention providers;
• service providers who help us operate the App.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, court order, government request, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

14. Third-Party Services

Jigsy may use third-party services that collect, process, or receive information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

These may include:

• Google Firebase;
• Google Analytics for Firebase;
• Google Mobile Ads/AdMob;
• Google Play services;
• Apple App Store services;
• cloud hosting or content delivery providers;
• analytics, diagnostics, leaderboard, and purchase services.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties.

15. Legal Bases for Processing

Where required by law, we rely on one or more legal bases to process information, including:

• providing and operating the App;
• performing a contract with you;
• legitimate interests, such as improving the App, analytics, security, fraud prevention, and support;
• consent, where required for analytics, advertising, tracking, or permissions;
• compliance with legal obligations.

16. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on your device and region, you may be able to:

• reset or delete your advertising ID;
• limit ad tracking or personalized ads;
• disable app permissions such as camera or photo access;
• clear App data from device settings;
• delete the App;
• opt out of certain analytics or advertising settings where available;
• request deletion of support or leaderboard information by contacting us.

Some App features may not work properly if certain permissions or data access are disabled.

17. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Local App data remains on your device until you delete it, reset App data, or uninstall the App.

Analytics, advertising, purchase, support, and diagnostic data may be retained by us or our service providers according to applicable settings, platform rules, legal obligations, and provider retention practices.

18. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

Information transmitted through third-party SDKs or platforms may be protected according to those providers' security practices.

19. Children's Privacy

Jigsy is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or the equivalent age under applicable local law, without appropriate consent.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at contact@techglitters.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information where required.

20. International Users

Jigsy may be used in different countries. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

21. Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• request access to information we have about you;
• request correction or deletion;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• request a copy of certain information;
• opt out of certain advertising or sharing practices.

Because Jigsy does not require login, we may not be able to identify App data as belonging to you unless you provide enough information for us to verify the request.

22. California and U.S. State Privacy Notice

We do not knowingly sell personal information that directly identifies you.

Some advertising or analytics practices may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or similar activity under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You may control certain advertising identifiers and personalized advertising through your device settings.

California and other U.S. state residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing, subject to applicable legal limitations.

23. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

24. Do Not Track

Some browsers or devices may send "Do Not Track" signals. Jigsy is a mobile app and does not currently respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals.

25. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law.

Continued use of Jigsy after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
